UniOne Email API — OpenClaw Skill

📧 Send transactional and marketing emails via UniOne directly from your AI assistant.

What this skill does

This skill teaches your AI agent to work with the UniOne Email API. It can:

• Send emails — transactional, marketing, personalized with templates
• Validate email addresses — check deliverability before sending
• Manage templates — create, update, list, delete email templates
• Track delivery — set up webhooks for real-time event notifications
• Manage suppressions — handle bounces, unsubscribes, complaints
• Domain management — check DNS records, verify DKIM

Quick Start

1. Get your UniOne API key

Sign up at cp.unione.io and get your API key from account settings.

2. Install the skill

From ClawHub:

clawhub install @unione/unione

Manual install:

mkdir -p ~/.openclaw/skills/unione
cp SKILL.md ~/.openclaw/skills/unione/

3. Configure

Add to your ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json:

4. Use it

Just talk to your AI assistant:

• "Send a test email to john@example.com"

Helper Scripts

The scripts/ directory contains optional bash utilities:

• unione.sh — CLI wrapper for common operations (send, validate, domain-list)

These scripts use jq for safe JSON construction and require confirmation before sending emails. See scripts/README.md for usage.

• A UniOne account (free plan available)
• A verified sending domain in UniOne
• curl and jq available on your system

• No executable code runs automatically — scripts are optional CLI helpers
• Requires only your API key — no other system access needed
• The agent always asks for confirmation before sending emails or modifying resources
• always: false — the skill is only invoked when relevant to your request

Best Practices

• Use a least-privilege API key — create a scoped key limited to the actions you need. Avoid using a production master key during testing.
• Verify the package before installing — if installing via ClawHub (@unione/unione), check the package identity and checksum. Compare with the official repository.
• DNS records — when setting up domain verification, add DNS records at your DNS provider yourself. Never paste private keys, certificates, or unrelated credentials into the agent.
